Casey Anthony Breaks Down During Court

Casey Anthony sat beside her attorneys, ripping sheets of toilet paper to wipe her eyes and nose on Friday morning as more gruesome pictures flashed on the monitors around the courtroom.

Sniffling audibly, Anthony watched as the prosecutors showed photos of 2-year-old Caylee's skull, her vertebrae, and her tiny finger bones.

"What are we seeing here?" prosecutor Jeff Ashton asked as jurors looked at a picture of Caylee's remains.

"These are the leg bones," explained John Schultz, a forensic anthroplogist. "These have actually been chewed on by animals."

Anthony gasped and started to sob, as her attorneys approached the judge for a sidebar. The judge quickly declared a recess, and the stunned jury filed out of the room.

During the break, Anthony's attorneys gathered around to console her. She briefly put her head on the table and wept before being led out.

After a 15 minute break, the court resumed showing more pictures of Caylee's remains as Casey, who left court ill Thursday, continued to cry.

The forensic testimony is expected to go on for days.
