DENVER -- A one of a kind animal shelter on wheels has made its way to Denver.
The North Shore Animal League America (NSALA) has partnered with the National Mill Dog Rescue (NMDR) in which one of the Animal League's rescue mobile units will be permanently stationed at Nation Mill Resscue in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
"The rescue end will be so much easier on us and on the dogs," said Theresa Strader, NMDR manager. "It's just a much more comfortable environment to move in, but more importantly, on the adoption end there's no doubt this will improve our adoptions really quickly."
For the first time in Denver, an animal league mobile until will be dedicated solely for the rescue, safe transport and adoption of mill dogs.
